Elise Eriksen was born to do music. Born in Norway, but lived most her life in Manhattan and LA.
As much as she enjoys contemporary pop and r&b, she also loves classic soul and jazz. Playing the piano is second nature for her, and is influenced by artists like Stevie Nicks, Pink Floyd, Summer Walker and Alicia Keys. Musically she blends timeless songs, real music with elements of current production.
She comes from a musical family and literally grew up in the studio and was surrounded by the best songrwriters and artists in the world. Inspired by all the talent around her, she started to play and sing at a very young age.
Her first release is a new take on the classic Bonnie Raitt song “Can´t Make You Love Me”, where she keeps the emotional feel of the vocals, but blends it with vocoders and modern beats.She has new original material ready, which will drop in the next few weeks.
