Helmed by Alexandria-based director Aijalon Alxndr, the video for “When I Fall” draws on Yoruba mythology to depict a tale of personal transformation. “I start off as a character, a kind of ice king, who’s emotionally closed off,” Sensei says. “Then after having his consciousness raised by Shango and Oshun–the god of male sexuality and the goddess of love–he emerges as Olokun, armed with new knowledge of self.
