Danila Sigal, inspirational leader, former Global Director from Procter & Gamble, and singer/songwriter, whom unfolded from a cancer diagnosis has dedicated many years to the creation of a motivational Pop catalogue filled with reflections from her healing journey, brings us a new version of her known pop song “Mi Obra Maestra” (“My Masterpiece”), now with a novel urban arrangement, featuring the new Venezuelan revelation of the reggaetón genre Tito Gómez.
The new arrangement was produced under the baton of renowned Berklee graduate Kati O’Toole (Los Angeles), mixed vocally by the Latin Grammy Nominee, Adrián Demori, and already counts with a video produced by Marin Films and Sigal Productions, filmed between Miami and Caracas (Venezuela).
The original Pop version of “Mi Obra Maestra” was part of album “Testimonio” launched a few years ago by Danila’s nephew Johnny Sigal. well known for his outstanding performance as the main star of
the Spanish version of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s musical “Jesus Christ Superstar”. The lyrics of “Mi Obra Maestra” remind us we are God’s masterpiece creation and have the sufficient strength and willpower to overcome life’s hardships. What best occasion than the December holidays to emphasize this aspect of our spirituality with an upbeat motivational song like this. Reggaetón is no longer reserved for a Spanish-speaking audience, as it has crossed all language boundaries for its contagious rhythms a la “Despacito”.
Tito Gómez started his artistic career ten years ago as an actor in Venezuela, participating in youth soap operas like “Te Llegue a Querer”, “Qué Clase de Amor”, “De Todas Maneras Rosa”, among others. More recently he made his debut as a reggaetón solo artist, and was invited by Danila Sigal to be part of her new release.
