Erik “The Anthem” Lee – Intro/Out The Way

West Coast super producer and hip-hop artist Erik “The Anthem” Lee is proud to announce the release of his latest EP, “The Flood”hosted by DJ Kay Slay. The EP consists of 24 tracks, produced entirely by The Anthem. Each track individually showcases the variety of sounds that The Anthem has mastered, ranging from 90s hip-hop to R&B. As a producer, The Anthem was able to organize many features for the EP, with performances by Nucents, Guillotine Gein, Parrish, Lou U, Adam Roose, Anthony Gates, Dolo, Benni Bandz, and Queen Yaa.

The Anthem has been writing his own music for nearly 18 years. Throughout this long and successful career as a musician, he has been influenced by sounds from hip-hop icons like Timbaland, Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, and Swizz Beatz. As a producer, he was able to work with some other major names in hip-hop, having successful projects with Snoop Dogg, The Eastsidaz, Xzibit, Goldie Loc, and many others. After his continued success and multiple hit records, The Anthem formed his own production label, 500Hz Music Group, LLC. Here, he works to establish and groom upcoming artists. This has also provided him with the opportunity to work on his own projects as an artist, including the newly released “The Flood”.

From the very first song on the new EP, titled “Intro/ Out the Way”, listeners will immediately appreciate the unique sound perfected by The Anthem. While the beat is reminiscent of 90s hip-hop, it still feels extremely fresh and new to the 21st century. When combined with The Anthem’s heavy flows, which bring 18 years of dedication to life, the song becomes the perfect way to kick start the 24 track EP.

In addition to the release of “The Flood”, fans will be happy to know that The Anthem has also released a full-length music video for the song “Intro/Out the Way”. Available now on Youtube, the video visually features beautiful West Coast scenery and shocking images of destruction. It perfectly captures the essence of The Anthem’s lyrics by visualizing his heavy West Coast sound.
