West African singer Aroch was born Dao Soumana, on January 10, 1987 in Padema, Burkina Faso, west Africa. He went to a Law school before moving to the United States in 2014 to pursue his music career.

At his early age, Aroch began singing and performing in his small native village of Padema at music festivals.
